Two VHS seniors selected as finalists for Merit Scholarship

Llia Byron and Sophia Hurtt were not sure why they were called up to the front office Friday morning.

The two seniors from The Villages High School were not in any trouble.

Rather, they were called out of class by vice principal Kelly Colley to be surprised with news they are both finalists for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
