Details for Michael A. Camerota

Michael Anthony Camerota, 89, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the Cornerstone Hospice House in The Villages, Florida. Born April 30, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan he was the son of Michael and Mary (Spina) Camerota. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. And he later worked for 37 years at General Motors. Michael is survived by his one and only true love, and wife, Joan (Boccardo) Camerota. His step children Linda, Lori, and Louis; 5 step grandchildren; and 3 step great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother in law Bruno Andreoli, many nieces and nephews, and his 3 fur babies. Michael is preceded by his parents, Michael and Mary (Spina) Camerota; sisters, Rose (Joe) Stasio, Clara (Stan) Condari, Jeanette Andreoli, Laura (Milton) Birkholz; brother, Bill Camerota; and stepdaughter, Lu-ann Boccardo. Michael was such a special man always taking care of his family and will forever hold a place in everyone's heart. He lived a quiet, simple life and enjoyed eating donuts and watching the news. He will be laid to rest at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL. The Neptune Society will be taking care of the final arrangements.
