Details for Louis T. Blows

Louis T. Blows, 89, passed away in Tampa, FL on Nov 9, 2019. Mr. Blows was born on Nov 1, 1930 in Milton, FL. As a young boy, he witnessed the Pearl Harbor attack where his father served as a Navy Chief on Ford Island. He served as a U.S. Marine and later earned his engineering degree from Virginia Tech. Mr. Blows coached numerous community youth sports teams in Virginia and at Norfolk Christian Schools where his two sons attended. He was an active member of Tabernacle Church in Norfolk, VA. He retired from the government as an electronics engineer for the Naval Sea Systems Command and moved to The Villages in 1989 with his wife, Phylis. Lou enjoyed retirement life and loved to build and fly model airplanes. Mr. Blows loved his Lord and served as an elder at Chapel of Christian Faith in The Villages, FL. He enjoyed leading the congregation in music as well as teaching Sunday School and small group Bible studies.

Mr. Blows is survived by his sons, Lou Lockwood of Green Cove Springs, FL, and David Lockwood of Tampa, FL. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm, Saturday, Nov 16, at Chapel of Christian Faith Church in The Villages, FL.
