Karen Lynn Barley, 72, of Winchester, Virginia, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her second home in The
Mrs. Barley was born February 2, 1946 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Maynard Alvin Hausenfluck and Amy Berry Hausenfluck.
She was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 1964. She retired from Loudoun County Public Schools where her last position was the
bookkeeper for Loudoun Valley High School.
She married Bruce Bryan
Barley on September 2, 1966 in Stephens City, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband of 52 years are daughter, Lisa Collins and her husband,
Rodney of Sterling, VA; a sister, Sandy Slack, of Capon Bridge, WV; and two grandchildren, Erica Collins and Brian Collins. A sister, Maureen Seal,
preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 P. M. Friday, September 14, 2018 at Stephens City United Methodist Church, Stephens City and a funeral will follow at 2:00 P. M. with Rev. Larry Craddock officiating. Burial will follow in
Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester.
Pallbearers will be Frederick County Sheriff Department Honor Guard.
