Janet was born on August 26, 1943 in Glen Dale, WV and graduated from Bishop Donahue HS in 1961. She subsequently attained a degree as a registered nurse. Janet married Donald Dailey, the love of her life, in 1965. Don and Janet moved to Michigan after the birth of their first son and had two more children, a son and a daughter. After working as an RN for a few years, Janet chose to stay home full time to raise her three children. As the kids began to leave for college, she re-entered the workforce providing inventory services for businesses. In 1998, Don and Janet retired and moved to The Villages in Lady Lake, FL where they have enjoyed many years of spending time with friends, playing cards, going to shows, dancing in the square, and Janet enjoyed her new-found hobby of painting.
Janet will be cremated, and her ashes laid to rest in the Florida National Cemetery. A memorial service will be planned at a later date as restrictions on gatherings are relaxed.
