Gerard Rene' Van-Nienwenhove died 15 June 2020, at Brookdale Place, The Villages FL.

Born in Fourmies, France he was the son of the late Remi' and Marie Van-Nienwenhove. Mr. Van-Nienwenhove served in the French army and later became an electrician in France. He worked for Westinghouse Electric Corp in Baldwin FL. In Jacksonville, FL he worked for Turner Electric and Anheuser Bush Brewery then later retired from Seminole Kraft Corporation in 1988. Surviving is his wife Lucienne Van-Nienwenhove, 2 sons, Gerald L Van-Nienwenhove, The Villages and Pascal J. Van-Nienwenhove, Glen Saint Mary FL; four grandchildren, Jerry Van-Nienwenhove (preceded in death), Jennifer Munn, Nicole Stamper, and Leanna Van-Nienwenhove ; 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Gerard was an avid fisherman, bicyclist and gardener. He had a great love of the harmonica and was a member of The Villages Harmonica Band. He was known to always help a neighbor or friend in need, and above all else he loved seeing his family and was known as a great storyteller. To his family he will always be known as "PEPE" and we will miss him dearly. On 27 May he marked Seventy years of marriage to his wife Lucienne.

Services will be conducted at the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, 410 Webster St, Wildwood FL on Saturday, 20 June at 3:00 PM with visitation 1 hour prior to service.
