AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WILDWOOD, FLORIDA, DECLARING AND IMPLEMENTING A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM UNTIL JANUARY 1, 2024, ON THE ACCEPTANCE, PROCESSING, AND CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATIONS FOR NEW COMPREHENSIVE PLANS.
Notice is hereby given that the City of Wildwood, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing on Ordinance Number O2023-16 at the City Commission Meeting on Monday, March 20, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. in the City Hall Commission Chamber, located at 100 North Main Street, Wildwood, Florida.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WILDWOOD, FLORIDA, DECLARING AND IMPLEMENTING A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM UNTIL JANUARY 1, 2024, ON THE ACCEPTANCE, PROCESSING, AND CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATIONS FOR ANY NEW COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS AND REZONINGS RESULTING IN A REQUEST FOR AN INCREASE OF RESIDENTIAL DENSITY BEYOND EXISTING ZONING ENTITLEMENTS FOR RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGHOUT ALL OF WILDWOOD; REQUIRING THE CITY TO SEEK ADDITIONAL DATA AND ANALYSIS REGARDING INFRASTRUCTURE AND GROWTH RELATED MATTERS; PROVIDING FOR NON CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The proposed Ordinance may be inspected by the public at the City Clerk’s Office, Wildwood City Hall, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
Interested parties are encouraged to attend the hearing and provide comments regarding the proposed ordinance. Any person requiring special accommodation under the ADA should contact the City Clerk at (352)330-1330 ext. 103.
APPEAL: NECESSITY OF RECORD Notice is hereby given that any person wishing to appeal any decision made by the Commission on any matter considered during these meetings will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
