Villager uses toy dog after loss of his therapy dog

Whenever Loras Schrobilgen walks into an assisted-living facility with Sammy in his arms, residents perk up. The battery-operated toy dog brings smiles to many faces with his happy barks and pants. “People really get a good kick out of it ... this one is kind of funny and gives them some smiles,” Loras, of the Village of Poinciana, said.
