Terry Fator, puppets add up to fun-filled Friday night

Ventriloquist, impressionist, comedian, singer and “America’s Got Talent” Season 2 winner Terry Fator performed two sold-out shows at The Sharon.

Terry Fator ambled onto the stage of The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center singing Frank Sinatra’s “Ain’t That a Kick In the Head.” “I surprised you, didn’t I?” he said to the audience. “You thought you came to a puppet show, didn’t you? Well, I like to start by singing on my own. A lot of people don’t realize: I can sing, too.”

Fator, a comedian, impressionist, ventriloquist and the winner of Season 2 of “America’s Got Talent,” performed two sold-out shows Friday night at The Sharon.

He was joined onstage by many of his puppet characters, including Winston the Impersonating Turtle; Walter T. Airdale, a country singer; the Beatle, the unknown fifth member of the Beatles who was kicked out of the band for making parodies of the songs; Julius, a smooth jazz singer, and many more.
