The Sumter County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on December 10, 2019, at 5:30 P.M., at the Sumter County Courthouse, 215 E McCollum Ave, Bushnell, FL, Florida to consider the following request:

THE S ½ OF THE N ½ OF THE E ½ OF THE E ½ OF THE NE ¼, TOGETHER WITH AN EASEMENT FOR INGRESS AND EGRESS OVER AND ACROSS THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PARCELS:
A STRIP OF LAND 50- FT WIDE ACROSS THE SW ¼ OF THE NW ¼ OF SEC 24, TWP 20S, RNG 22E, WEST OF FEDERAL HIGHWAY NO 301, WHICH SAID STRIP OF LAND IS 420 FT SOUTH OF THE NORTH LINE OF THE SAID SW ¼ OF THE NW ¼ OF SAID SEC 24, TWP 20S, RNG 22E; AND THE EAST 40 FT OF THE N ½ OF THE S½ OF THE E ½ OF THE E ½ OF THE NE ¼
Re-consideration of a modification of a Special Use Permit to an existing sand pit utilize SE 14th Place as an additional route for trucks entering and existing the property. The Board of Commissioners previously denied the application on February 12, 2019.
The proposed application may be inspected by the public at the Development Services Department, 7375 Powell Rd., Suite 115, Wildwood, FL, between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. weekdays. All interested citizens are welcome to attend and be heard with respect to the proposed application. Persons with disabilities needing assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the Sumter County Administration Office at (352) 689-4400, 48 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting.
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 286, Florida Statutes, Section 286.0105, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by an above named Board with respect to any matter considered during any meeting of such Board, he or she will need a record of the proceedings and that, for such purposes, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record may include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
Only those persons receiving mailed notice in accordance with the requirements of Section 13-315 of the Sumter County Land Development Code shall be qualified as “affected parties” for the purpose of examining witnesses during the noted hearings.
